As Psalm 107:20 (KJV) states, "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions." One day, I was reflecting and meditating on these scriptures, and I felt compelled to ask God a question: “There are so many incurable diseases and so many people suffering. Some believe for their healing, yet the manifestation often takes a long time—or sometimes, it never occurs. Where are we going wrong?” The answer came through the scripture in Psalm 103:20, which reminds us that God “sends his word, and heals our diseases.” As I continued to ponder this, clarity began to emerge. I realized that while I was praying for healing, I had not fully positioned myself in a place of surrender. I was not allowing the word to undo, eliminate, or expose the limiting beliefs within us that keep us in bondage to disease. The power behind disease lies in the beliefs we hold about ourselves in Christ. Some areas of our lives may remain hidden from our awareness, permitting sickness and disease to flourish within our bodies. These afflictions do not thrive because we are inherently evil or sinful—they thrive in the darkness of ignorance within us. Just as light exposes darkness, divine truth reveals what is hidden. When the light of God's word shines through, the darkness is cast out, and the existence of disease begins to vanish. But what is this darkness? It is ignorance. Hosea 4:6 (KJV) states, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” The word of God exposes our ignorance and imparts new knowledge—knowledge that shapes our beliefs and brings about the manifestation of God's promises. Remember, "He sent his word, and healed our diseases." We are already healed—regardless of the illness or condition. The key is to surrender fully to God's word, allowing it to work within us and bring about divine restoration. So, I encourage you today to deepen your trust in God's Word. Surrender your doubts, illuminate the areas of ignorance within your mind, and receive His promises with faith. Believe that healing is already yours through Christ, and allow His Word to transform your beliefs and manifest divine health in every area of your life. Remember, the power to heal has already been released—your job is to receive and walk in it. Stay encouraged, stay in the Word, and walk confidently in the truth of your divine healing.
